I am trying to embrace the extra stone and a half (sometimes literally, as you say) and not hate this midlife me in photos, but I do so miss the toddler faces of my kids, as much as I enjoy intelligent conversation and games of UNO with them now. The nostalgia probably won't go away, will it?
