It’s a cliche that older women are often angry. When I was young there was even a show about it on TV with angry older women being interviewed about why they were angry.

It’s something that’s been in the collective consciousness for years - the angry mother in law, the angry female customer in the shop who has a meltdown, the angry lady in a parking lot who blows up because you stole her space. It’s funny - these angry women. The way their chins wobble and their faces look like they’re going to explode. They aren’t scary. Not like angry men. An angry woman is a figure of fun. A delight in fact. She’s not going to kill you. She’s going to shout into the air and then she’s going to start crying. She’ll wear herself out like a child having a tantrum.
