I’ve noticed people become more serious as they age. They lean into the heavy feelings and look backwards at the opportunities they’ve missed, the things that went wrong, and the people they’ve lost. These feelings are valid but arguably we need to hold onto the laughs if we can. We need to try and make ourselves feel good, even when there aren't huge reasons to feel this way.
