When trolls tell you you're old and ugly

Or how it hurts but you find yourself checking anyway

I stepped right into a personal shit show this week with a feature all about tweakments for a big newspaper. The photo was MASSIVE, and I knew as soon as I opened the paper (after the school drop) that there would be some negative fall out. People will always feel the need to type horrible comments on something A WOMAN has written. The irony of it is that the piece is about my fears of ageing and how I have tried to jump on the tweakments bandwagon but can’t (always) afford to keep up. So yes it’s vain and it’s indulgent but it’s also quite raw and honest. ALSO YOU DON’T HAVE TO READ IT.
