A few weeks ago I shared an extract from my book which I am finally getting down to right now instead of buying denim shirts/exercise leggings on Vinted. And worrying about work. These are my main past times you see. Oh and also feeling not well because of menopause which has me firmly in its grips (joint pain, tiredness, anxiety- it’s not much fun is it?)

Part of me thinks what is the point of writing books these days? No fecker wants to read a book written by me! Part of me needs to write books though so it’s irrelevant. That sounds pretentious but if you read Rick Rubin’s book on creativity then you know that sometimes you just do creative stuff without a firm outcome in mind and that’s okay. Elvis wasn’t built in a day.

This book is really about what happens when you hit 50 and realise life isn’t what you thought it would be and you don’t have that long left. This is how the book starts. I will share more extracts here and there but only for my PAID subscribers. You have almost reached 100 now which is amazing to me and thank you. You are supporting a woman who refuses to give up writing and that means an awful lot. So see what you think and this is obviously still in draft form so don’t hate on me please.
